Howard Rotberg

Howard Rotberg is the founding president of Canada’s only conservative and pro-Israel publishing house, Mantua Books – www.mantuabooks.com; He is the author of the pro-Israel novel set during the Second Intifada, The Second Catastrophe: A Novel about a Book and its Author,  a book about the political culture and values of Vancouver calledExploring Vancouverism:  The Political Culture of Canada’s Lotus Land; the book about contemporary ideologies stressing tolerance over justice and liberty, Tolerism: The Ideology Revealed, and its recently released sequel, The Ideological Path to Submission… and what we can do about it. All Mantua books are available from Amazon.com. 

Rotberg also was a practicing lawyer for twenty years and spent another twenty years re-developing heritage institutional buildings into affordable rental housing for modest income working people.   He also lectured, wrote about, and consulted on the topic of affordable housing.

He received degrees in both History and Law from University of Toronto, but returned both for cancellation as a protest against the university being the first in Canada to host an anti-Israel, anti-Semitic hatefest called Israel Apartheid Week.
